We want to thank all of our amazing volunteers who have stepped up to be a part of our 2014 – 2015 PTSA Executive Board! Please help us fill our few remaining board positions:
Teacher Grants: Committee Chair reviews and revises (if needed) instructions and application, annually. Distributes to all staff. Compiles summary of applications. Reviews with Principal for approval. Organizes Committee to review requests. Provides summary and recommendation to the Board. Once approved, ensures orders are placed within the specified time frames.
Directory Advertising: Market advertising opportunities to potential companies and families. Follow up with past advertisers. Compile all new advertisements and work with graphic layout specialist to coordinate the insertion of the ads into membership directory.
Directory Distribution: Once the directory has been printed, sort, label, and deliver directories to appropriate teachers, who will then distribute them to the assigned students.
Disaster Preparation: Work with school and ASB to ensure the necessary supplies are on hand; help organize volunteers to unpack expired contents of the boxes and repack with new items; possibly partner with community agencies (local fire or medic groups) to take advantage of anything that may be available to schools upon request.
