The Tesoro High School PTSA Proudly Presents…What Do You Consider Lethal?   What Every New Driver Should Know.

Wednesday, June 4th at 6:00 pm in the Titan Gym (doors open at 5:30) for all students who did not attend the February 19th presentation.

All Sophomores (class of 2016) and a parent are invited to attend this 90 minute presentation to learn about:

· The dangers of reckless and distracted driving from Impact Teen Drivers

· The Graduated Drivers License (GDL)

It is MANDATORY for both students and a parent to attend in order to purchase a parking permit during fall registration or anytime during your Junior year. Space is limited so one parent/guardian per student please. All students must bring their THS student ID card and parent or guardian (No substitutions allowed) in order to be scanned for attendance after the presentation is over. Questions? Community Service Hours Available, Aug 5-7

Each year parent and student volunteers come to Tesoro to pass out Registration Packets. The job is simple and fun; hand out packets to parents and students as they drive through the parking lot. If you are connected to a group of Tesoro students who like to help out in the community and can organize them around this effort please contact Becky Wilkinson at beckyw526@gmail.com. The dates and times are: Tuesday, Aug 5 – 9am to Noon, Wednesday, Aug 6 – 4pm to 7pm and Thursday, Aug 7 – 9am to Noon.

Staff Appreciation Lunch – May 29th

Please help us show the Tesoro Staff how much they are appreciated. On Thursday, May 29th the Library will be transformed and a feast will be served to the entire Tesoro Team. The PTSA Team would like to give a HUGE ‘Thank You’ to the parent volunteers who come every day of the week to assist Tesoro Teachers. Thank you Joanne Bank, Cathy Chapman, Linda Finn, Elle Harrington, Kim Jones , Youngmi Jun, Michele Langley, Patte Loyd, Heather Sahargun, Dianne Silver, Ronna Vladic and Liz Zielny. Collectively you have generously given 153 hours of your time and processed 282,542 copies. WOW!!!! Your work has allowed Tesoro Teachers to spend more time with all Titan students. Thank you so very much!!!
